His research direction is software quality assurance, specific research topics include quality assurance techniques for complex software systems, software quality assurance based on programming languages, etc. He has published more than 40 papers in recent years, including more than 20 papers in ICSE, FSE, ASE, ISSTA, TSE, TOSEM and other CCF-A journals and conferences, and won the ACM Outstanding Paper Award at ASE 2022. He has applied for many invention patents, and some of the patent results have been transformed in Baidu, Alibaba, Huawei and other well-known software companies; he is a reviewer of many journals and a member of the program committee of international conferences.
